Adjustments
It is not always necessary to buy new
clubs to play better golf.
Sometimes just a minor adjustment will suffice to improve your performance.
Here you will find an overview of what we can do for you to evaluate
and/or improve your clubs.
Club Fitting
Assessment
In this assessment we will
determine the specifications of your clubs that enable you to play your best
golf. You will receive the results of our club fitting in an assessment report
to take with you.
If you have no immediate plans to buy a new set of golf
clubs, but still would like to know which type of clubs suits you best, you just
select our Club-fitting Assessment. This is also the way to go if you just want to check the suitability of your
golf clubs.
You will find this an interesting and instructive experience, because
during the assessment you will be introduced to the characteristics of your swing
technique and the specifications of the clubs that suit you best.
Under Club Fitting you will find a more detailed description of the
Club Fitting Assessment.
Club Evaluation
In this evaluation we
measure and analyze the properties and specifications of your clubs. The analysis
is focused on the consistency of the specifications and the
problems you have in playing the clubs. We will determine the adjustments that are necessary to improve them. You will receive the results in
your personal evaluation report. This evaluation cannot yet determine what adjustments
are necessary to get the best fit for you. That's why you need our Club Fitting
Assessment!
Loft/Lie
Adjustment
Loft and lie of your clubs
are medium to major factors on the accuracy of your game. The loft interval between irons need to be consistent to get a proper
increase
in distance from club to club. For a true course of your shots, lie is critical
on short irons and important on medium irons. Even when you make a perfect swing
a wrong lie will deviate your shot from your target. We can measure the loft/lie of your clubs, assess the correct lie and loft
interval and adjust them for you.
Swing
Weight Adjustment
Swing-weight
specifies the balance of your club. The greater the swing weight the more
your club will be head-heavy. It is a major factor on the feel of your club,
and thus on your confidence in and control of the club. There is no standard
swing weight, each player has his/her best fit. We can assess your best fit and
adjust your clubs accordingly.
Length
Adjustment
Length is a major factor on the
feel of your club. It is also a major factor on the distance and the accuracy
of your shots. Although a longer club can generate more swing speed than
a shorter one, more distance can only be gained when the ball is solidly hit on
the center of the clubface as well. The longer the club the harder it is to hit the ball
on center. The right length of your clubs not only depends on your length
and stance, but very much on your golfing skill too. When you feel that the
length of your clubs are not right for you, we can determine optimum lengths
for you and adjust your clubs accordingly. We will also maintain the correct lie and
swing weight of each club.
Re-gripping
Grip
is a major
factor on your feel and control of the club. Wrong-sized or even worn grips can
diestroy your consistency. We can determine the right size for you and professionally
re-grip your clubs.
Re-shafting
If a club does not play or
feel well it will probably be caused by a wrong shaft. This is particularly true for
drivers and other long clubs. Here a new type of shaft can help. We can assess
which type of shaft suits you best and accordingly re-shaft practically all types of club.
