The Club Fitting Assessment.

In this assessment your club fitter will determine the specifications of your clubs that enable you to play your best golf. The results of this assessment will be put on paper for you to take with you.
For this service we ask a fee of € 50.-.

Although the Club Fitting Assessment is our first phase in producing new custom-made clubs, it is also a product or service in its own right. If you have no immediate plan to buy a new set of golf clubs, but still would like to know which type of clubs will suit you best, then you can choose our Club-fitting Assessment only. It's also the best method to check the suitability of your own golf clubs. You will find this an interesting and instructive experience, because during the assessment you are introduced to the properties of your swing technique and the specifications of the clubs that suit you best.

The assessment takes place on a driving range so that you can see the accuracy, the trajectory and the distance of the flight of the ball. Interaction between you and your club fiiter is crucial.
Hitting in a net with computer-measurements telling you how you hit the ball don't enable you to see the results of your strokes for yourself.

This assessment will be explained in the following five steps of the club-fitting process.

Step 1; Getting acquainted and interview.
First we take time for coffee and getting acquainted. Then your club fitter will interview you on your current skill of the game, what your ambitions are and what problems you have with your golf. It is important that he gets a good understanding of these issues to make a good balance of choices in the specifications of your clubs. For instance a need for more distance will give another choice than when there is need for more accuracy.
During the interview you will also be introduced to all the specifications that effect the parts of your game.

Step 2; How is your swing?
Following on the interview you will hit some balls with your own clubs and/or test clubs from your club fitter. The properties of your golf swing will be determined and its effect on the distance and the trajectory of the balls will be noted. Your club fitter will also test where you hit the balls on the club face and which length and (swing)weight of the clubs fits you best.
In addition he certainly will test your putting, because 40% of your strokes in the game are putts!

After this exercise you can go home after we have made a new appointment for the next meeting in step 5. The next two steps can be done without you and will take more time than the two hours you already spent with us. If you brought your own clubs we will ask you to leave them with us for a few days, to undergo some measurements in the next step.

Step 3; What are the specifications of your current golf clubs?

In this step we measure, using specialized equipment, the specifications (like for example swing weight, loft, lie and flex) of your own clubs.
This data will give us a base for further analysis and deduction of any necessary adjustments.
In absence of your own clubs we use the test clubs of your club fitter as a base.

Step 4; Evaluation.
After gathering the necessary data from the interview, the tests and the measurements they now will be analyzed and evaluated  by your club fitter to get the results of the Club-fitting Assessment. The data will be put on paper and will include an substantiated evaluation and recommendation.
When new clubs are to be recommended it will also include the specifications of the clubs that will fit you best. If your own clubs are OK but need some small adjustment, then the specification of the required adjustments will be included.

Step 5; Feedback and how to go on?
For this final step you and your club fitter will meet again as appointed in step 2. In this meeting your club fitter will give you feedback on the Club-fitting Assessment and discuss the results with you. This will take about one hour.
In case you need new clubs, you will be given a choice of types of clubs that fit you best and our prices if you let us make them for you. If no new clubs are in order but your own clubs need some adjustment, then you will also get our price if you let us do it. You are not committed to anything and can decide to go elsewhere. Our Club-fitting Assessment is impartial and will place you better to find the right clubs.

To conclude the meeting we will give you back your clubs if we lent them, give you your results on paper and ask you to pay the bill.

When you decide to go on with us to make your new clubs, we will move on to the stage of "making your custom clubs" as described elsewhere on this website.
